Visions of Labor

The UMass Labor Center invites you to join them on November 9-10, with opening night films on November 8, for an exciting event, Visions of Labor: Film and Worker Voices.

Together, as labor activists, we will view and discuss new and classic labor films, along with worker-created videos, as we explore the power of worker stories and how these stories can be used to spur creative action.  You’ll also have the opportunity to get a sneak preview of a major labor film-in-progress, and hear from the film’s director.

The Labor Center is committed to ensuring that all interested workers can participate and benefit from this event, regardless of ability to pay.  Transportation will be available from Holyoke and Springfield and Spanish English interpretation will be offered throughout the conference.

Please consider making a donation to help make it possible for all interested activists to attend.

If you want to know more about the event or want a member of our organizing group to come to a meeting please contact Clare at visionsoflabor@gmail.com.
