Scholarships for UAW Members!

Available to All Members!

Goddard College is a private college with three locations in the United States: Plainfield, Vermont; Port Townsend, Washington; and Seattle, Washington. The staff and faculty of Goddard College are represented by UAW Local 2322.

Goddard offers an individualized course of study for both BA and MA students, in a low-residency format designed for working adults. Students attend a one-week residency at the start of their semester where they work with faculty to create a study plan that will support their specific learning goals, then they work closely with faculty for the semester to meet those goals.

Goddard faculty are prepared to work with UAW members on most courses of study, and are particularly interested in supporting study in labor relations, labor activism, just and sustainable work environments and organizational development.

Applications deadlines for the fall semester BA programs have been extended to UAW members and their immediate family members, with $1000.00 “friend of the college” scholarships reserved for the first ten UAW members or family members who enroll this fall. The same scholarship will be available to the first ten UAW members or family members who apply and are accepted in either BA or MA programs in the Spring.

UAW members can find more information at www.Goddard.edu, or by contacting Interim Director of Admissions Lucinda Garthwaite directly at lucinda.garthwaite@goddard.edu, with the subject line “UAW admissions.” Members will receive a response within 1 business day
