UAW 2322 members include thousands of hardworking parents in Western Massachusetts who struggle to access affordable child care as well as child care center workers who are underpaid and undervalued.  The COVID-19 pandemic has laid bare the realities that affordable, quality child care is essential to all workers and that child care workers are essential to our economy.

UAW 2322 has joined the campaign for a just child care system that meets the needs of working families, provides dignified and family-sustaining jobs for child care workers, and that will provide immediate child care relief to help jump start our state’s recovery from the COVID-19 recession.
