Dear Fellow Goddard Staff Union Members,

We want to let you know of positive steps forward: the Administration has notified supervisors that “for the time being” staff who spend time “directly in union negotiations” will be paid for that time. This not only means that the Bargaining Team members (including hourly /temp employees) will be paid or get release time for their efforts in the negotiation of the first staff union contract, but also it reflects an indication that the Administration appears to have acknowledged and placed value on those efforts.

We are hopeful that this is a sign of respectful and collaborative negotiations moving forward.

The feedback you continue to give us is deeply valued and as we move forward we will work on improved ways to channel your feedback and also to provide answers to your questions, when possible.
