Hello GEO-UAW 2322 Members,

We are pleased to announce that, following two days of balloting in the Campus Center and a vote at the GEO Membership Meeting on Thursday, September 20, the tentative agreement negotiated by your elected bargaining committee was overwhelmingly ratified.  The vote was 99% in favor of ratification.  The next step is proofreading the final contract and signing it.  We hope to be in touch soon with dates to expect the negotiated wage increases and other benefits.

We want to thank all of the stewards and activists who helped by flyering, visiting and calling members, staffing our table on the Campus Center concourse, and working on the days of the vote.  Your hard work ensured the largest ratification vote turnout for several contract cycles, and one of the best-attended membership meetings in recent memory.  This is a great start to the year for GEO!
