The Graduate Employee Organization and Graduate Student Senate invite you to a forum titled “Social Justice and Campus Life: Building a Diverse and Inclusive Community” on Thursday, April 9, at 4pm – 6pm, campus center room 909. The forum will bring together knowledgeable speakers and activists who will discuss issues such as the state of diversity in higher education today, the challenges of being queer on campus, and the multiple demands that women face in higher education. This highly interactive session will not only delve into the marginalization of certain groups and identities but will also explore strategies that facilitate empowerment.
