Rally for Verizon Strikers – Saturday, April 30th

To All Labor Leaders and Union Members,

On Saturday April 30, 2016 the IBEW local 2324 is planning on holding a Rally in beautiful downtown Northampton.

As many of you already know, the leadership of both IBEW and CWA have called for a strike against one of this nation’s largest corporations (Verizon). This Rally is being held to be bring attention to the issues that American working families are facing today. For Example: Reduction in pay, benefits, pensions and retirement etc. Verizon is one of the most profitable corporations in America and despite that, they want our members to make concessions so that the CEO”s and shareholders can yield higher profit margins. Without its highly skilled workforce Verizon would not be where they are today. It’s time for American workers to stand up to these greedy corporations and tell them that we will not sit back and be quiet while they have their hands in our pockets.

With that being said, our fight is your fight! Please encourage your members and their families to take an hour or so out of their day on Saturday April 30, 2016 at 12 PM and join us on the lawn at 99 Main St, Northampton, Massachusetts. The more people that we have supporting us, the louder or voices will be and the message will become that much clearer.

We thank you in advance and hope to see you all there. If anyone would like to speak at this rally please contact me as soon as possible.

Assistant Business Manager
