We want to invite you to attend an exciting rally with the UAW in Washington DC on August 24. We are gathering on that day to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
We are expecting this to be a huge event, and we hope you can join us to help raise awareness of unemployment, poverty, immigration and other critical issues.
There will be buses leaving Friday, August 23 at 11pm from UMass Amherst for the rally at 8am in Washington DC. We will be returning at 2pm on Saturday, August 24.
If you would like to attend, please email info@uaw2322.org with your name, phone number, and the number of family members you’d like to bring. You will be asked for a $10 deposit to hold your seat, refundable when you get on the bus.
